Tuesday, September 10, the Franklin Pierce Schools Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint Dr. Gil Mendoza to serve as the Director of District 3. This seat was vacated by Mark Baumgarten in June 2019, following a new career opportunity.

On Thursday, August 22nd, 1,100 Franklin Pierce Schools staff gathered at Clover Park Technical College to kick off the new year.
The Blue Bird vehicle fits right in with the district’s model of thinking—clean renewable energy—officials said.
“We chose electric because we think it fits perfectly with our district’s vision for sustainability and clean energy,” Director of Transportation for FPS Tim Bridgeman told School Transportation News.
On June 30, District 3 Director Mark Baumgarten resigned from the Franklin Pierce Schools Board of Directors to pursue a new career opportunity. During his 24 years of service to the Franklin Pierce community and to public education, Mark has been a relentless advocate for students, families and staff.
