5310 Compensation

The Board of Directors shall approve salary schedules for all employees. Such schedules may be developed either through collective bargaining with the appropriate associations or by administrative action for unrepresented employees.

For those who are represented by associations, employee benefits and salary require the approval of the Board of Directors through approval of collective bargaining agreements.

For those who are not represented by associations, employee benefits and salary require the approval of the Board through Board-approved contracts and/or Board-approved policy and regulation. Unless otherwise stated in a Board-approved contract, insurance benefits for unrepresented employees will be as allocated by the state, less the retiree’s carve-out. Life insurance is provided to unrepresented employees consistent with that provided to administrators represented by the Association of Franklin Pierce Principals.
