For 75 years, the YMCA Youth and Government program has been providing a “hands-on,” non-partisan, civic engagement opportunity for countless teens across our state. Throughout the process, teens take on various roles of state government from press, pages, lobbyists, and legislators to appointed and elected officials. This up-close experience provides youth the chance to run their own youth legislature.
