Assessments
Franklin Pierce Schools' mission is to provide students an engaging educational environment, built upon proven academics and high standards, resulting in successful and contributing citizens. Assessment serves two major purposes: instructional support and educational accountability and has three levels: district, state and national. Ongoing assessments and evaluation of progress and achievements provides a way to determine and measure goals. FPSD strives to provide timely and meaningful student achievement information to students, parents and guardians, teachers, and the community.
State and federal laws require students to be tested in English Language Arts and Math in Grades 3 through 8 and high school and Science in Grades 5, 8, 11.
