Who is eligible

Eligibility for SUN Bucks is based on household income or participation in other public assistance programs, such as free school meals, SNAP (Basic Food/EBT) and TANF. You can learn if your child is income eligible by using this online screening tool. If you would like to know if your student is already qualified due to SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, or other government programs, please email hwaite@fpschools.org with your student's name(s), and we will get back to you with that information.

Benefits

Each eligible child will receive $120 to purchase groceries during the summer months. These funds will be distributed via an electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card, which can be used like a debit card at participating grocery stores and retailers.

How to enroll

While school is still in session, families are encouraged to complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit application (CNEEB) through their school or district. Families who are determined eligible through this process, or who are automatically identified through SNAP/TANF participation or school meal eligibility data, will receive SUN Bucks benefits.

Families who are not automatically eligible may still apply for SUN Bucks through the online application process.

For questions or assistance, families can contact the SUN Bucks Contact Center at 1-833-543-3230 (TTY: 1-800-833-6348), Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. (except observed holidays).
