Choice Transfer Request Portal (CTRP) is used by many school districts in Washington State to process nonresident enrollment requests.
A Choice Transfer request is made when a student wants to attend a school outside of the school district where the student lives.
If you live in Franklin Pierce Schools and want to attend school in another district, you use this form. If you live outside of our district boundaries and want to attend a school in FPS, you also use this form!
Within District Student Transfer form is used by residents of the Franklin Pierce School District who wish to enroll their student in a Franklin Pierce school other than their school assigned by residence location. Parents complete this form online and submit it for review. Additional review steps are completed by district staff and parents/guardians are notified by email when a transfer decision is reached. Parents/guardians of a student applying to a school that they have not previously attended will need to provide grades, attendance, and discipline reports to the requested school.
Within district transfer are for students who wish to attend a Franklin Pierce School that is not their assigned neighborhood school.
Daycare Verification of Residency Statement form is used for elementary students who live in the Franklin Pierce School District and want to attend the Franklin Pierce elementary school in the area in which their daycare is located. Please print this form, complete it, and submit it to the school where you are requesting enrollment for review.
Daycare verification forms are used in conjunction with a transfer form. This is to establish your child's daycare within the district and allow for bus routing.
Declaration of Intent to Provide Home-Based Instruction form is used when you wish to provide home-based instruction for your student(s), and you live within Franklin Pierce Schools' boundaries. You are required to file a declaration of intent annually with the district office by September 15 or within two weeks of a new grading period. Please complete this form and submit to the district office in person, via email enrollment@fpschools.org, or mail to 315 129th St S, Tacoma, WA 98444.
Intent to homeschool forms are required for students who are receiving instruction at home or through a homeschooling co-op. This is not applicable for OSPI approved K12 schools online/in-person.
