Family Engagement Office
Family Engagement Office helps eliminate potential barriers to students academic success by providing Franklin Pierce students, families and community with resources and support. Our goal is to empower students and their families to actively participate in their education.
- Students Experiencing Homelessness
- Students in Out of Home Placement (Foster Care)
- Community Resources
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act, a federal law, ensures immediate enrollment and educational stability for homeless children and youth.
Our appointed building liaisons across the district are here to facilitate, navigate and assist our families and students who find themselves needing support during challenging transitions to continue receiving the highest standards of education.
The Foster Care Education Program focuses on improving and promoting educational outcomes for children and youth in foster care. Schools, child welfare agencies, communities, and families must work together to provide the equitable opportunities, specialized services, and useful supports that are essential for students in out of home placement to be successful in school and in life.
Community Resources are assets in a community that help meet certain needs for those around them. We here at Franklin Piece Schools believe having access to these resources are crucial to our students and families success.
