The board is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The board authorizes the implementation of security access systems in district operated facilities. Employing security access systems and appropriate procedures for use of such systems controls entry into school buildings and provides additional levels of protection from unauthorized intrusion.

The superintendent or their designee shall develop procedures for the use of security access systems in all district operated facilities.
