4220P Procedure - Complaints Concerning Staff or Programs
The following procedures apply to the processing of a complaint that concerns staff or programs:
A. A person making a complaint should discuss the issue first with the teacher or staff member closest to the situation.
B. If the issue is not resolved, the person making the complaint should discuss the issue with the principal.
C. If still not satisfied, the person making the complaint should contact the assistant superintendent’s office.
D. If the issue is still not resolved, the person making the complaint should contact the superintendent’s office.
E. Concerns not resolved may then be brought before the Board, following procedures in Board Policy 1430 and Procedure 1430P.
