FPS Board of Directors
Since the COVID-19 state of emergency was declared and the Governor issued Proclamation 20-28 the School Board has been reducing both the number and content of meetings to focus only on those action items deemed necessary and routine. Previously scheduled regular meetings or work sessions may be cancelled or replaced with special meetings as deemed necessary.
The Franklin Pierce School Board, consists of five directors, elected by residents to govern the school district. They are responsible for establishing school policies according to the laws of the federal and state government, the State Board of Education, and the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
