Learning Support Services

A variety of programs and services are managed by the Franklin Pierce Schools Learning Support Services Department.  They include:
•  Special Education
•  Title I
•  Learning Assistance Program (LAP)
•  English Language Learners (ELL)
•  Section 504

Students are assessed by a variety of methods in order to be eligible for one of the special services.  Please contact the Learning Support Services office at 253.298.3051 or by email.

Franklin Pierce Schools have applied for funding under Title I and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) for the 2015-2016 school year.  If you would like to review or give input into the applications, please contact the Learning Support Services office at 253.298.3048.

Franklin Pierce Schools 402 hereby gives notice that Special Education records no longer needed to provide educational services to individuals with disabilities who were enrolled in the district as a student and left the district during the 2011-2012 school year, will be destroyed by shredding.  If you would like to obtain a file before destruction, you must contact Franklin Pierce Schools, Learning Support Services before August 31, 2018.  In accordance with Federal Regulation 34 CFR 300.624 and Washington Administrative Code (WAC 392-172A-05235) and FERPA.
