Head Start in the Franklin Pierce School District
Head Start is a federally funded
preschool program for 3 and 4 year old children and their families. Families must qualify as

. The office is open from 8:00-4:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (by appointment on Wednesdays from 8:00-4:00).
There are four AM classes and four PM classes. Classes are assigned based on where a family lives in the district. Meals and busing are provided. AM class meets from 8:30-12:00 and PM class meets from 12:00-3:30 Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays (no class Wednesdays). Classes follow Franklin Pierce School District calendar.
